ATTN PHILLY area PARENTS
of the freakish varriety
I am happy to share with y'all
that im getting on board with Lynne of Kinderbats (tm)
and taking part by assisting to host this spring's
Laurel Hill Cemetary Picnic and get together.
Sunday May 3
so long as its MOSTLY dry
meeting at the gates at NOON.
Shortly to follow and Ostara egg hunt .
( WHAT COULD BE A MORE PICTURE PERFECT MOMENT
THAN OUT LITTLE ONES DRESSED IN THEIR OOKIE KOOKIE FINERY
DARTING AMONGST THE STONES TO COLLECT
COLORFUL OVAL FERTILITY TREATS! ?? ! )
~Might it even be cool enough to lure kyle and his big guns
out and encourage him to break with graveyard free tradition?~
ANYWAY
Pack a picnic lunch for your and yours, and pack a treat to share if you like.
A picnic blanket would be wise. And remember, CARRY IN, TRASH OUT !
Feel free to bring items to add to the hunt. (a small toy thats old news to you
will be a treasure to another... heres a chance to recycle.) WRAPPED CANDY
only please. You CAN wrap and package yourself if you like... but trust me
they wont be happy with us if we leave melting jelly beans around.
The area used for the past several years has proven to be a nice CONTAINED
and mannagable area for us... as always, you are free to roam about the grounds
before and after.
Weve set no TIME for the hunt, but I expect to see it kick off round1:pm.
get on board for more kinderbats etc events. See linkadoo at the bottom.
and yes... i suspect ill be getting more regularly involved as im back home.
A reminder, a donation to the cemetary helps them maintain this wonderful attraction.
And now for Lynne's verbage
