fungus amungus
Hello all.
I figure since ive popped up making comments on images of late,
I might as well drop a few images to give myself some credibility.
Ive been 'shooting' since i was about 8.
THIS is what I consider to be my first true "photograph".
Taken with my mothers brownie camera (from her childhood) in the mid 70s.

When you are 8, turning the square format brownie camera is QUITE the innovation!
I shot ALLOT thru the late 80s and early 90s.
Even though i worked for MID CITY CAMERA...
Was engaged to the lab mannager there...
The endeavor was too expensive for me.
Between the costs, and splitting with said lab mannager
I hung up may camera for the most part in 1994.
With the coming of my first son, i invested in a meduim level digi camera
(which im still limping thru with today, cause I cannot afford a better one due to the divorce)
that Digi camera has helped keep me sane thru parenthood.
New parents get very little time to them selves... and on rare occasion
the microcosim of fungus and mushrooms were a fantasy world I could dissapear in to for a little while.
Here are a few:
from the TINY

to the enormous

to being interactivly creative

theres alot of fungus amungus
its an easy target to be sure...
but there are considerably more worlds in there to be seen than i ever immagined.

Theese fungus images are not tweaked by any editing programs. I try to shoot straight form the hip, so to speak...
for me image editing isa different area that photography... so I wanted my introduction to be 'straight up' images
without after thought.
if you are a MySpacer, you can see more fungus shots here
http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf m?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=6 1393007&albumId=1680408
then you can go on to blissfully net stalk me in all my photo files.
(The images that were not BY me are marked so...)
(Unless theyre OF me... which sould make it balringly obvious theyre not by me.)
Im not nessecarilly looking for a crit or input.
I just wanted to make my introduction of sorts.
...I'd call myself an 'advance beginner shutterbug' at best...
Hope you enjoyed!
