11th annual 30th b-day

Due to tightening fiscal crunchiness
I am sad to say i dont think im going to have a b-day bash for my 11th annual 30th b-day
(...read, Im turning 40...)
The victuals I could maybe swing, knowing how my friends LOVE to bring dishes and show off a bit too...
BUT the main trouble is space cnstraints.
Initial polling shows I COULD  command a decent head count...
so I have to consider my venue...
I just dont think this place will be ready to host
and i cannot afford a 'hall'.
SO, as much as I was enjoying the fantasy of seeing my friends dressed up as me...
("come as I are" was going to be the theeme...)
Its just not in the cards.  POUT.
Ive never been big in to commanding tribute for my anniversary of consciouness
but this was the big 40... and after a mahjor life passage... it would have been nice.
I could pretend Ill do it in a few months once the place is more set up... and when belld off could go outside...
BUT who are we kidding.
Maybe Ill call for a convergence at a local eatery instead.  BORING, I know.
But it would simplify things.
